Piping up

Postby bluefish » Fri Mar 08, 2013 8:25 pm

Hi everyone, it's time for me to come out lurk mode and get a little more active. I have finally got building again after life's curveballs and hope to finally get a boat under my belt. I'm currently working on a 1/50 Vicotria/Upholder, not the nicest boat but I do know this boat pretty well. My first attempt at making a master and mold were less then great, lessons learned! I'm currently in the process of correcting many of my flaws with the lines of hull, I really do hate bondo. But it's coming along and my efforts will eventually pay off nicely.

The learning curve of scratchbuilding my first sub "and intro to RC" has been a fairly steep one, but greatly fasinating at the same time. Anyway... That's what I'm up to and I'm hope to find others in this hobby on the east coast of Canada, Ontario is bit of a long drive to play in a pond regularly.

Cheers
