I saw one trimmed out last year at the North Lake run and it was the strangest thing to watch dive.
It would pop under the water very fast like a duck diving for a fish or what ever ducks eat.
It would kick its a$$ in the air and down she would go. Then pop up somewhere else.
The guy had been in subs for years and had some really nice boats but told me that this one was his favorite to run.
He had it for 28 years if I remember.
I had seen them run before but this one he modified the motor or something. I don't remember what.
It was funny that something so simple a design and really at the start of R/C subs would be more fun to run than a big buck boomers.
Maybe we need to get back to basics.
Although I never have driven one they say the original (MINI) Mini-cooper is one of the most fun cars to drive there is.
And talk about your (Basic) basic transportation. Just watch the scene in the Jason Borne movie.
