Chris,

Can we count on that electric motor boat launcher "thingy" being at Carmel? I think it is supplied by the Indy Admirals.
I can see me using it this year - I hope.

Thanks for your time,

Dan Roe

P.S. I just mailed my application and check today, 5/31.

The electric boat lift will be at the pond. This was designed and built by one of the Indianapolis Admirals members that is an engineer at Rolls Royce.

Also, I don't have the "official" dates of the regatta starting on Friday even though it is a 3 day event because we won't have shirt sales, registration, etc..., set up. The tent, tables, and chairs will be there for all to use. In the past, some didn't know that the pond could be used on Friday so this year several are going to be running that day. If you are here, please come over and use the water!

Thanks, all !

I posted a message on the INFO ONLY page about the Paypal account. The Indy Admirals is a non-profit club and Paypal came back to us wanting too much info from one of our members to continue to use this account.

Please us the US Mail to send in your registration, payment, and shirt order.

Thank you and sorry about the change.

So far there are 10 people registered for the Subregatta that have also ordered shirts. I am using these forms to aid me in ordering the correct size tent and get tables and chairs. The funds to pay for the event come from registration fees, shirt sales, and raffle ticket sales so you can see my dilemma by not wanting to get a huge tent for 10 people. If I don't get more people registered in the next week I am going to order a smaller tent and get less tables and chairs. Along with this, I won't get as many shirts. Anyone pre-registered will be placed in the tent before those that register when they show up.
I'm hoping that most of you are waiting until the last minute to send in your form but I really need this information soon. A lot of us volunteer to help with this event in order for us all to have a great time. Please help us have a great event by sending in your forms and getting in touch with those that you know are coming to do the same. The last thing I want is for those traveling a long distance to not have room in the tent and be stuck on the grass.
Thank you so much for your support in the past and your help. I know this will be another great Subregatta.

Chris,
Count me in. I will put the check and registration forms in the mail tomorrow.
Figure for 2 whole tables for me, my wife and son.
I will register all three of us, even though I will be the only one running a boat, to benefit the SubRegatta with the extra registration cash.

I am also delinquent in sending in my registration.
I tried using the PayPal but then forgot to send it USPS after the PayPal option was stopped.
I am sure there are a lot of members with CRS (Can't remember S**T) like me that have not done it yet.
I will send in my form today. BD.

Hi Chris,
I had emailed you with questions about name tags, registration, etc. and received your reply. Just been busy with things and finally got my form with check in the mail yesterday. I'm ordering a shirt (large), registering and requesting 1 table and 1 chair for myself. Thanks for your help.

So this is officially a three day event, but are there any "activities" or events that will occur on Friday before the dinner or evening fun run? I hear there's a local hobby shop...anyone know where it is?

There is an update under Subregatta Info for you if needed.

There are no formal events on Friday. The day is open for you to run as much as you like. The tent, tables, and chairs will be there for you to use. There are some doing a night run Friday after dinner at Chipotle.

There is a local hobby store that is about 15 minutes from the pond. It is Hobby Town and here is the address. 8326 Castleton Corner Drive, Indianapolis, IN

For those staying at the host hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, don't forget to register there for the free breakfast raffle when you check in on Friday.
They will contact your room if you win.

Sorry I can't make it this year Chris. I have a family wedding that I can't bow out of. I hope everyone has a fantastic time and takes LOTS of photos and videos posts them!!!!!

Remember - take pics of people as well as subs. Get action shots and things that you don't normally see.
