Italian Sub

Postby Art Broder » Wed Apr 27, 2011 7:39 pm

I have had some fun making an Italian Sub. It is called "The Tony G." and is equipped with forward and reverse water pump propulsion, and RCABS. It's just over two feet in length.

Big Dave, Did you want to see the inside because you are hungry?
Image
From the left: screen to allow water in, green tubing for reverse from small black pump, servo operated diving planes(tomato slices), standard RCABS cylinder with bladder lifted off to show yellow 2 function Jomar switch for forward and reverse, blue rudder servo, larger water pump for forward propulsion. There are 5 C size NiMH cells on each side of the WTC, in series, for 12V power. They are in bladders for waterproofing. I don't expect long life from the two "waterproofed" servos in the wet area, but they can be replaced inexpensively.
