AVATARS

Postby TMSmalley » Thu Oct 26, 2006 6:38 pm

This forum has an easy way to add your own personal avatar (the little
picture under your name on the left side.

Just click on PROFILE - that is just above this window. This is the area where you can change your forum password, adjust the time for your messages so the time is correct. (I am in the Central USA timezone and had to go to -5 to make it correct for me. I'll need to change this when daylight saving time goes off.)

Scroll down to the bottom to the Avatar Control Panel- here is the place you upload your new avatar. Don't forget to click on Submit

NOTE - the maximum size is 150 pixels wide so you might need to resize the image or it will be rejected. You can resize the image in Photoshop Elements or any number of other graphics programs. If you aren't comfortable doing it - email it to me or Jeff LaRue and well resize it for you and send it back ready for you to upload!

the I'll upload it manually for you.
PLEASE TELL ME YOUR FORUM NAME if you do.

I'm not quite sure what you want.
you want that image inside your signature ?
if so, edit your signature and upload the picture to e.g. photobucket.
that should do the trick.
or does it blow up to full width after hosting it with photobucket ?

sizing the original you should do yourself, I would be swamped with requests like that.
MS paint, or even powerpoint will do the trick.

Let me know,
Regards,
Ronald

all avatars vanished when I upgraded the forum.
you will have to re-select your avatar from the avatar gallery.

info on how to re-select your avatar from the gallery here :

I just tried uploading a new avatar and got an error. I assume its still broken? I'll email the pic to the site and hopefully someone will be able to get it up for me.

Thanks!
