Final Reminder....

snip ->

So it looks like it is a go for Saturday August 16th sub regatta at the cottage. This is a non sanctioned SubcomOn event so alcohol may be present.

My contact details (for the event) are as follows:

House
465 William Street.
Gananoque, Ont.

Cottage
Tremont Park Island
Cottage (613) 382-3509

Cell (613) 859-8928

The plan is to have folks show up at the house (land based) to prepare for the boat ride to the cottage(water based).

Based on the logistics involved I would require an RSVP so I can determine who I would have to transport to the island as well as obtain food.

To simplify things an estimated ETA would be good so I can minimize trips back and forth to the island. It may also be advisable to remind people to minimize their field packs for transport in the boat.

Attached is a map of Gananoque. For explicit directions please visit mapquest and use a destination postal code of K7G 3A8.

For those looking to spend more time in Gananoque to lose some money at the casino ect, you may want to visit http://www.gananoque.com/main.html to get some ideas what things there are to do.

<- end snip

And the reasons why to attend would be :

Kevin, if you are seeing this, the PICs I was telling you about are the PIC10F for the ballast control with failsafe, and the PIC12F for the slow bow plane retracts.

Thanks George!
Glad you made the haul up again this year. My ride home was 5 hours - how was yours?

Ben,
Thanks again for having us all out to your place. It was another unforgettable weekend!

It was about 90 minutes back to my cottage, including customs which wasn't too backed up. Mowed the lawn, then another 3 hours back to Rochester. Paid the devil getting up and back to work this morning after 2 weeks off though.

Anytime Rick.

I shouldn't have razzed Ted about the hatch on his FS1. He's sending me pics showing that he is right and we are wrong.

Oopps. I think it's gonna stay the way it is.
