Tip :

If you need a sturdy construction, like a basket to hold
batteries or a platform to mount servo's on, these can
be effectively made out of PCB, using the copper to solder the parts together. works very nicely. requires large soldering
iron.

This trick was applied in my Brueggen Skipjack.

I once made an entire speedboat hull like that.. quick and dirty, but heavy too!

TEMPLATE FOR FLEETBOAT DECK

An unused circuit board (with the holes drilled) makes a great drilling template for the metal areas of a Fleetboat deck. Paul Hruby taught me that one.

Just checking a trick to see if I can get a Tripod photo to post - the pic has nothing to do with the post.
