Yes, and with a remotely controlled rocketplane that shoots from the water and then flies around... at least we will finally learn how they landed the Sky part of the Skydiver :)

omg, how I was glued to the TV screen as a boy when that series came!

But I don't think it was ever shown here in the US, too bad. I recall
I couldn't wait till Sundays, the day it was on.

Great TV series.

Another worth mentioning, although nothing to do with sub modelling is
"The Persuaders" Roger Moore and Tony Curtis, that was a blast!
It was never shown here in the US either, unfortunately.

I have the fondest of memories of UFO coming on once a week when I was a kid. I recently found the DVD collection on Amazon.com and bought it. Watched one episode everynight until I had seen them all again. What a fantastic submarine the Skydiver is. I would love to get my hands on one of a decent size. The only one I have seen available is only 17" long, not big enough for me. To be practical I would say that it would need to be at least 45" long.

AWESOME WITH A CAPITAL A!!! :D Coolest sub anywhere, except for the Seaview of course. We would love to see them. Can you start a builders thread on it and keep it updated with your progress?
