Old Darnel Molds Get Revamped

Postby kazzer » Sat Sep 29, 2007 4:26 pm

I'm going to sell the Darnel (Metcalfe Mouldings) range of models in North America.

The old molds are going to be reworked and upgraded, but it would help if we knew which ones to do first.

I have set up a poll and would ask you to please take a moment and look at the range of models we have and vote on which TWO you would like to see first.

I'll pass this information on to the new owner, and we will see what happens!

The poll is running on Subpirate - no point in running two.

Darnell Models Soon Available in North America

Postby kazzer » Sat Oct 13, 2007 1:53 pm

Yep! The Darnell molds are being revamped and Caswell Inc is importing them to North America.

Xcraft is done, and I will have them in stock any day.

S Class is being revamped now, should have something in two weeks.

I HAVE TO SAY THIS! My complaint with the old Darnell model was NEVER the model itself, it was the way the product was made in the mold. The problems I encountered building my HMS Sibyl have been addressed and resolved. Therefore this is one NEAT looking submarine - and really great value.

T Class is good -
