I hope someone can get a hold of Skip to let him know. He is coming all the way from Jersey for the run.

:O
Well I'm heading to Brookville Lake which is not too far away from Indy and much closer to Cincinnati,I have plenty of room to sail around there...I really wanted to come over to Indy to meet everybody this time but I guess that was not in the cards. Bummer...

I hope the others have something planned!

What a bummer!

Too bad no one has built a Simon Lake boat. It could have been run on its wheels... :p

But seriously guys, I hope you will have been able to find another nearby lake for running boats this weekend!

I was also at Carmel and another nice site was found as a substitute. It seems the Indy area has an abundance of good places to sail. Yes, it was a shame that some signals got crossed but everything worked out fine.

No - Jim Wheeler didn't come due to work commitments but in spite of that we had a great time. Chris Campbell brought us to another pond just a few mintes away and it was PERFECT. Clear water, easy access for putting boats in and out - and the weather couldn't have been better. It was in a neighborhood that Bill Gates would have been proud to live - HUGE new homes and lots of new ones being built. The pond was lined with brick all around and the Indy Admirals had a nice little dock that made launching and landing a breeze.

Chris turned what could have been a disaster into one of our better fun runs and he got a guy to help me get my motorhome back on the road. Thanks Chris!

I will post some photos in a few days (on my website since this one hasn't had photos changed in like... FOREVER!) :p
