Hi, all -
I picked up the ICM 1/144 Type XXIII U-Boat yesterday, and now I've got a question on the colors.

The instructions call for the lower hull to be black, yet I've seen other models and profiles anywhere from overall light gray to light gray upper and dark gray lower. Any insight or references on which way to go?

TIA!

I use dark gray on the lower, and light ghost grey on the upper. I would think that black, especially in the small scale you have, would obscure more detail. Go with grays...
