I'm reposting this as a general announcement to the membership. Please read!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen of the SubCommittee,
For the first time since the introduction of the new website, I will be conducting maintenance of the membership database. As you all know, membership in the SubCommittee has certain priveledges, including free image hosting through our website, the ability to edit posts on the message boards, submit reviews, vendors, and much more. These additional features are reserved for members in good standing with the club (IE: you've paid your dues).
That having been said, effective March 1st, 2006, any person with membership priveledges through the website or message boards who has not renewed their membership will be removed from the database and their webspace WILL BE LOST, along with all other benefits associated with it. This is not a temporary thing. Once removed, all information associated with the account is permanently deleted, along with the stored data. This could potentially affect message board posts or websites which use the SubCommittee's servers to host the images.
If you haven't renewed, now would be a good time! You've got a month to get your renewal in to our membership chair. Email him right away at (email@example.com).
Hi guys - I am now getting a little desperate. I have sent 5 e-mails to firstname.lastname@example.org over the last month. I have not yet received a reply. The reason for my e-mails is, I would like confirmation that you have got my membership renewal - which I mailed from Sydney Australia on 1 January 2006. As yet my Visa statement indicates that payment has not been processed. So either you have it and have not processed it yet / or you haven't received it. If its the latter then can you please contact me with a phone number / fax I can re send my details through to. Many thanks John
Sorry for the lack of replies. I sometimes don't get the email forwarded to my email. I have also been so busy at work lately that I haven't had time to get on the site. Any free time gets eaten up with house chores and handling membership renewals and SCR orders.
I just sent you an email confirming what Jeff about your renewal. You are all set. The reason the credit card hasn't been charged yet is that I wait to get a bunch of renewals and orders before sending the information to the treasurer. Yours will be going to him soon.
