This 64 page book, by Roger Chesneau, differs from other sub books as it is written especially for modellers rather than those with a general interest in the subject. The first section describes the different iterations of the Type VII . The next describes the different models (static and RC) that are available and passes some comment on their accuracy and quality. Also included is a review of accessories such as Photo etched sheets and crew figures. The modellers show case sections has great close up colour photos of completes models with lots of nice details. There is also a section of colour plates showing paint schemes and insignias of a selection of models. The final section is a 1/200 scale copy of the original builders plan for the VIIc. Even the SC gets a mention in the reference section. Part of the Ship Craft Series, Chatham Publishing £15.
