Bring your boats!! This may be the last meeting of the year where soft-water will be in the pond!

I assume he means water that's not frozen, and is therefore soft (as compared to ice).

You, sir, are correct!!!:^D

Usually, we move indoors in October/November, depending. Even if October weather is decent, the water temperature drop is enough to gel up grease on seals and turn us into Smurfs if'n a boat has to be retrieved.
