Mandrake, here is a very short list of the main defects on those models:
Kilo: wrong hull shape (should be a teardrop shape instead of a cylinder), wrong deck height (IMHO is 3 mm taller, i.e. 43. cm taller than it should in the real thing) and shape (specially aft), wrong rudder shape, wrong screw blades shape.
Romeo: wrong propellers position and shape, wrong torps tube doors shape (the ones at the stern are in a wrong position too), in fact the whole stern under the waterline is wrong!
There is a lot of other details lacking or wrong on both models too.
