Static Participation at SR03

Static Submarine modelers unite!

Postby wlambing » Sun Mar 16, 2003 7:07 am

Trying to get a feel for the interest in Static competition at this years 'regatta. Last year the pickin's were slim! The few models that were brought in were quite good, however please note the key word, "few"!
Is static another "lost art"? I'm hoping you folks will prove that wrong. Mom and Dad, encourage the kids and bring the models along. Kind of a really big refrigerator door! :^)
Take care, all!

really want to join the event, but alas - I'm too far away from States :(.

anyway about static model, I personally found this very good - got not enough 'fund' to start making / bought a R/C model, so currently quite satisfied with Static :)

...I'm building a static Ohio, and could not imagine building anything BUT static. (Might as well do it right, once U're at it, right?)

... but like Seawolf, I'm too far away from the US, eventhough I dream of participating one day.
