Nautilus Drawings from 1982 - A complete, detailed design

Nautilus, Seaview, and more

A lot of folk are familiar with my Nautilus site, which features many non-Goff visions of the submarine. Every once in a while someone who sees the pages has some until-now unshared material. Jean-Pierre Bouvet offered me a complete, very detailed design he drew in the late 70s and early 80s. With his kind permission, I'm happy to provide a view into that material on this new page:

Thanks Michael!!!

Very nice artwork! A lot of work went into those interiors - my gosh...

The exterior looks a little blunt though. "Like a needle through sailcloth"? I don't think this design could do that.

But those interiors are FANTASTIC!

One of the nice things about my Nautilus page is offers like this, and every once in a while one's a treasure. Jean-Pierre has received at least one comment on the shape and provided me some thoughts on it and a modified drawing, but I wanted to preserve the original form. I do wish I could provide all the material - there's even a detailed diving suit - but what's there gives the flavor.
