Russian Navy set to revive submarines project
Russia hopes to introduce three 'Borey'-class (Project 955) nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs) into service with the Russian Navy by 2010. Revival of the stalled programme would provide Russia's first new SSBN after a gap of more than 15 years. [Jane's Defence Weekly]
