looking for cousin's boat

Postby redboat219 » Fri Apr 25, 2014 11:58 pm

I have a cousin whom I haven't seen in decades. His family migrated to the US in the late 60s. All that I know of him was he was a submariner in the US Navy around the 80s-90s. I tried looking for him online. Wanted to know which boat he served on and make a model of it. So far all I've got on him is that he's a inspector with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission ( means he was a reactor specialist onboard?) His name is Joselito O. Calle.

BTW, He was Class '81 at the US naval academy.

Most likely he served onboard a Sturgeon or LA class boat. Want to know which specific boat.

Suggest you try a query through USSVI (United States Submarine Veterans, Inc.)—specifically through a letter-to-the-editor to their national quarterly publication, The American Submariner. Some shipmate of his somewhere will remember him, his boat(s), and get in touch.

Good luck,
