A Knowledgable friend emailed me and said to him it appears to be(boat on right) an S class type 3. The conning tower looks like the one on his dads boat HMS Sybil. The gun covers idea he says came from the T class. Any other input?

As for the submarine on the left it would appear that once again Wlambing is correct,the Surcouf. Notice the pictures.
