David,
Did you post how the fore and aft sections including the sail are attached together? Can't seem to locate it in this thread.

Dave,

Very interesting build! Nice to see your approach in contrast to others. You work fast! From start, to functional design, to successful maiden, in less than two months!

You just banged this out like you were assembling a shake and bake kit. Big Dave's Blitzkrieg Designs! Lightning fast, and effective!

Only thing lacking might be no room for torpedo launchers?

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

It is a 400 sized Johnson.
About 8000 at 7.4V.
It has good torque.

Ok. Just ordered a couple of 540Sh 7.2v motors, the kind used in 1/10 Tamiya off road vehicle.
