Have an idea for the web site?

Last post date

Sirs,

For your consideration:
One thing I really like about some other fora is that they use "today" and "yesterday" for last post date where appropriate. For me, it makes seeing newer posts much easier.

John,

For all practical purposes, I do not see any real differences between the software used for the SC forum and the uboote.de forum. What is it in terms of capabilities or look/feel that you are referring too?

John,

You seem pasionate about what you see on uboote.de...so why not provide some specifics? It might be clear to you, but at least for me, I'm not seeing what you are...or perhaps we're talking about two different things. There must be a least a few things that you can point to that would help the forum administrator......?

I'm not sure about this but did my question/suggestion get completely hijacked?

Is there any merit to my suggestion about using "today" and "yesterday", where appropriate, in the Last Post Date column?

Dan,

I think we need to have Ronald respond to this. I suspect that this would require some custom coding to make this work.....plus I'd want to see that as an option since I like having an actual date/time stamp. :)

Hi Dan,

It's do-able but it is not readily available.
I will flag this one for later implementation, after the kinks have been driven out the new stuff.

good suggestion !
