Not good news

Discovered. Detected. If true, is not good news. I like it better if the USA were saying-------undiscovered, undetected.

I like my concept better. An Ohio class type submarine that has a large lock out chamber where the missiles used to be. a mini/midget-medium sized (AIP D/E) submarine that comes out of the large bay and goes out on it's spy mission. When the batteries gets low, it returns into the bowels of the mother sub, and gets a recharge of it's battery from the nuclear submarine, not its diesel engines(no noise). This midget/mini submarine would have a diesel engine just as an emergency back up only. This is probably a concept they have already thought of, and shot down for who knows what reason.

I recently read about an UNMANNED submarine that Japan and the USA are working on that will be Diesel/Electric/AIP that will go one month before needing a recharge. I'll have to see if I can find that article.
