Wild. Glad the Coast Guard had the legs to help. I am always in awe of the work Coasties do in these rescues.

Just another day at the office for the USCG, America's oldest continuous seagoing service. AirSta San Diego flies MH-60 Jayhawks, which have a range of 700 miles. During WWII, the U.S. Army deferred development of the helicopter to the U.S. Navy, which handed the program off to the USCG.
