Steve Neill's Rc Sub Modeling for Dumb A**** is released!

Postby U812 » Tue Dec 11, 2007 5:10 pm

For more information about my new book please go to this link for pictures and details about the book. If you are new to sub building this a book that shows you how to scratch build your own model submarine.

The title is controversial it seems but in light of all the "For Idiots" books out there I find that word much more insulting than the thing we all sit on. LOL!!

I have asked the gang at SubPirates what they think and the title stays.

This book can be very helpful and does not require you have the NASA lab to make a sub. Only your wit, some shop space, local hobby store and hardware store.

It's packed with CGI illustrations and photos spelling it all out for you even if you don't like to read. Imagine that?

Here's the link: http://subpirates.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3563&start=0

I guess I won't post the book cover here but you can see the racy cover at SubPirates! LOL!!

Thanks guys!

I have built two hulls using Steve's method and both turned out great. 8)
A chunk of blue foam, a good plan, a hot wire, and Steve's book and you can build any hull you want!! :D
Two thumbs up My Friend!!! BD.

BTW- I think he titled the book with me in mind.
Sometimes I can really be a Dumb A**

Steve,

I'm sure your book contains all the helpful advice you provided to me, only in a nice, easy to understand format with lots of CGI pics. If that's the case, it really is a "must have" for anyone attempting their first scratch build. Your book would have saved me hours of research on how to build a sub.

I look forward to getting my hands on a copy, good reference/reminders for my NEXT build.

The title likely reflects the mental state of anyone even wanting to spend the time and money to build one of these things, ....and not neccesarily their IQ in general.

Hi Boyz!

Steve is fighting the worse flu he has ever had. :( It is holding up activating accounts for paid members. He had one buyer already flame out on him and demanded his money back. Please be patient, your orders will be filled as soon Steve is back on his two feet. Let us wish him a speedy recovery.

Happy Hunting!

Well I'm back! What a horrible thing to go through. I've never been so sick.

I want to take this time to thank everyone here at SC and SP for buying my book. I haven't received one bad review. You guys are very much appreciated.

Thanks again!

Steve,

I've been remiss in not ordering one of your books. Might this be available for purchase through download?

Jeff thanks. but if you do it that way you won't get all the added full size picture files that I have included separately. These show greater detail than the book pictures of course.
