Engel Boats - Who Runs Engel Boats?

Know of an upcoming modeling event?

Postby jaschwink » Wed Apr 28, 2004 1:07 pm

I am planning to attend the SubRegatta this July. I was wondering if anyone who has and/or operates Engel boats will be coming and/or bringing one to the SubRegatta. I currently have under construction an Engel Fleet Boat (to become the USS Silversides) and would be very interested in meeting an owner or discussing their operation.

You may contact me direct at

Hi Jim,
If you make the Carmel run, bring your Engle fleet boat with you. I remember last year you had the plans for this boat when me, you and Chip Meyer were up till all hours going over the them, Buy the time we hit the hay, I think Chip had re-designed the whole kit! :D Remember that Chip?? How fun was that?? If we had the kit there, we could really dig into the meat and potatos of it......... Either way, see you soon. Jeff
one things for sure, they won't be expecting us......... S/C#258

I'm planning on having a Seehund with an Engel-based ballast system running at the SubRegatta. Not sure if I'll have time to get the torpedoes working by then.....
