FUTABA R/C - I need some guidance!!!

Ahoy Fellows!

I´m writing from Argentina, so forgive me if I make some mistakes with my writing.

I have the chance to buy an 8 channel PCM 75Mhz FUTABA 8SGA radio with 5 servos, for U$S300.

The question is: Will it work for my sub? I´m planning to build an 1/72 Alfa class from Scratch, and theorically will run up to 9 feet deep. (if the radio work).

Would it be better to have a 29 or 50 Mhz band radio?

Thanks in advance!!!

Christian,
The Futaba radios are of excellent quality, I have several that have been in continuous use for over 20 years. The PCM 8 channel radio is particularly nice, and the price you have for it is certainly more than reasonable.

75 Mhz is the approved surface frequency here in the USA, and will work well for you, assuming you plan to use it in fresh water. My only suggestion other that "buy it" would be to make certain that you can legally use it in Argentina.

All the best success with your project!
