Operable/retractable bow planes

R/C Submarine modelers

Postby C Earnest » Mon Mar 15, 2004 10:14 pm

Hi,

Does anyone have or have resource data for operable/retractable bow planes? I'm building Skip Asay's "USS Marlin" and have room for minature servos.
This is my first R/C sub, but have been building/flying
R/C aircraft for 30 years. Thanks in advance for any
info you may have.

Hi C. Earnest:
You might want to look at the design used on the Typhoon subs as a starting point. A plce like www.marinerc.com will have pictures.

Best, Ed :)
