does anyone have a suggestion on how to join the hull halves of this kit I have a few ideas but would like to hear or see something new
I use wardrob clips a sort of brass catch spring loaded it has to be mounted toa peice of grp sheet then glassed in the hull fore and aft but it is quite time consuming and requires precise
alignment

If you're building one of Matt's 688i's then you could use the bow planes as the fastener. Epoxy a brass tube through the lower hull where the bow planes attach. Run the brass bow planes' connecting rod through the upper hull, through the tube, and out the other side of the upper hull. Stick the planes on the rod ends, friction will hold them in place. Your upper hull will stay securely attached to the lower. I use this myself and it works great.
Warm regards,
