Paul,

You might want to drop this in "Upcoming Events and Regattas" too. I had to dig to find it.

(I forgot the date)

Yesterday was a lot of fun. No rain and all the boats ran well -- eventually. :D I've created an album of my photos from the event at the SC Flickr site: https://www.flickr.com/photos/subcommit ... 875836825/. If you have more of your own, please post them.

Good seeing you guys together again, having fun. Wish I coulda been there...but we were having our own boat fun in SanFran (as you know). Salmon's posted a link to his photos. Rod Broyles also took a zillion. Fodder for the upcoming coverage article in the SCR.

Back home. Had a great time at the event as usual, weather was superb as was the company. Here are a few more pics, I especially like the bow quarter shot of John's Gato.

Excellent. Now I have proof I was there -- and so was my boat! Those are awesome shots, especially John's Gato as you say. So impressive.

Is the type vii at scale waterline or deck awash? Hard to tell in the photo.

Paul,

Do you still have that beautiful Permit of yours? It looks like you do from the photos. I'm glad you kept her! If I would have known that Don brought that 1/96th Sturgeon, I would have asked you guys to take some beauty shots in the water for my website for the release of the new 1/96th Sturgeon coming up so soon....

Yep, I still have the Permit. Going strong since 2013. I have some shots of Don's Sturgeon in the Flickr set for the event.
