I just finished viewing the technogames.
The swimming competition looks like fun.
Did anybody defend the honour of the
subcommittee ?

I wish I had known it was on. I only saw one race but they were very impressive. Some of the fast ones would make great torpedoes, I wonder if they have published any plans anywhere ???

For all people wondering what this topic is about,
it is an equivalent of the more widely known
Robot Wars competition,
only the technogames are a type of robot olympics.

There are several "sports" to design a "robot" for,
like high jumping, soccer, marathon, etc.
Most Robots are R/C devices at best, or even just
mechanical comtraptions (like the long jumpers).

of course there is also a swimming contest. No propellors
allowed. You can see a remarkable array of fish, duck and
other designs try to reach the other side of a swimming pool.
This year, I saw a torpedo-like thing with flippers racing
the pool with an enormous speed.
