Dec 2nd meet at Gilligan's Island

Postby g2tiger » Sun Nov 25, 2007 7:19 pm

Gents,

I have just finished some mods to the Uncle Sam and wish to check them out on Kevin Price's nice model submarine. As some of you may remember the Uncle Sam was called to rescue one of Kevin's boats at the Devils Den. Well, due to Kevin's poor planing and not having bumpers along the hull of his super nice model the Sam was unable to render assistance unless you think running over his sub model several times is helping (some do, haha).

So my new mods will/should allow the tug to hold her hull to the subs hull and push the sub to shore.

Please mark your calenders for Dec 2nd so we can meet at Gilligan's Island (see previous posts for location and directions). i have several SCDS sub captains already on line to show up and allow me to experiment on their fine models so make every effort to escape the port and show up.

We should/shall start at around 10am and finish when we are tired of each other or have drained our batteries or both.

Respectfully,

Charlie Johnson
Head Muck Raker

P.S. If you need any info let me know at g2tiger@comcast.net Just title your email as Dec 2 Gilligan's Island.

You becareful how you talk about my sub charlie or you may find a torpedo in your uncle sams rear end!!!

Also the dead boat was due to an uncalibrated esc!

I know its short notice all but lets call this my last run before I depart for awhile and before the water is just to darn cold to bother!

The Uncle Sam turns her stern in your general direction and flaunts her massive prop at your whimpy underwater vessel. Everyone knows the real heroes of the water are TUGS! BAWWHAHAHA!!!

Double posting Charlie? It wont help your tug dodge torpedos from my PT boat either. I turn my rear and send a rooster tail in your general direction with my three props!

Double posting

Postby g2tiger » Wed Nov 28, 2007 9:42 pm

Say, Wasn't me, nobody saw me and 'can't prove it. Probably the dog anyway. :D

So you think some stinking PT (is that like a PT cruiser?) is gonna scare the Sam? Think again little boat man. You'll need three props to get that hunk of plywood moving, haha!

Rooster tail? So it's chicken is it?

No wonder I was confused. Plastic, huh? What ever happened to the good old days of iron men and wooden ships, or something like that.

Hopefully Sunday will be a great day all kidding aside and I do hope that my RTV rubber bumpers will do the trick.

See you Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!

K,

If you want to give me a hull that works, I'll let you.

When can we meet again to go over our plans to take over the word?
